Yee haw

Today is my last day of work...until I start my new job in Savannah. I will be teaching at SCAD, and I couldn't be more excited. But this means lots of work before the new year. We're relocating and changing careers. A new chapter of our lives is beginning.

I started a Poster Boy bag from Stitch n Bitch Nation. Mine will have a picture of my sweetie on it. Here's a progress photo: (side note - this is my first attempt at fair isle, and I don't absolutely hate it!)

Finally

A snapshot of the finished baby uggies. I've seen alot of these around blogland. They were so fast and fun to make. They are a gift for our friends who are expecting very soon!

The pattern is free here.

I've had fun finishing lots o' little projects lately. More coming soon...

A finished project!

My mother-in-law and I had a knit-along...We each made one of these scarves for my two nieces. A fun, clever pattern. This is from the book Last-Minute Knitted Gifts.

Rollins doll

Here's a picture of the back of the Rollins doll (before he was finished). The book includes embroidery charts for the tattoos, so I thought I'd show the neck since it's never really shown anywhere in the book.

Late bloomer

Okay, so I'm a little behind the times. I just now got the Phildar Irlandais catalog from LAST year. The cabled hoodie is calling out to me. Hmmm, what yarn to use? I'm not a big fan of the itchy stuff. Something soft, not too warm. I guess I'm kind of picky.
