Well, what's up out there? I am mourning the loss of Reverie Knits. She will be missed by those who loved reading her blog. Farewell. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
I also feel a sense of relief that Kitten Avec Whip is home with her feet firmly planted on the ground. I am one of the (few) people who read her deleted post about the boy, and I have to say that I felt for her.
Lots o' tid bits on the needles right now. Can't say much, or don't feel like it really. I'm working toward a big proposal, so I'm in busy mode. Designing lots of v. fabulous knits.
I ordered a cone of lace weight merino from Skacel as a possible substitute for Kid Silk Haze. I'm not sure how it will go. The yarn is on its way to me right now. I am dying to make Aimee from Vintage Style, but the mohair madness tends to drive me, well, mad. A woman at Wildfiber told me that the silk content keeps the mohair from being itchy, but I don't know yet. A few tests are in order.
