Lots of good things to report:
My friend Jaime got married! Though we've always kept in touch, we had not seen each other in 7 years. I made the trip to Pennsylvania to see her and her beau tie the knot.
Slow progress on the chevron rib tank. Mom and I had our own little knit-along on this one. She finished hers last weekend, so I need to get a move on! Next we are knitting Kate together, and something v. awesome happenend last night. I went to my LYS and the Rowan ASC, which I plan to use for Kate, was 50% off! Yee-haw.
Big job interview coming up soon. Too big to discuss now, but will know more in about a month.
I'm loving Aimee from Rowan Vintage Style, but have to complete test with Kidsilk Haze to see if mohair content sends me into an itching frenzy.
Husband received 4 stitches in his finger on Monday night. It's healing well. Good news - he'll be back to washing dishes for me in no time.
P.S. Forgot to mention, the new Interweave Knits "Crochet" issue has a designer profile/interview with funk fiber artist Xenobia Bailey, whom many of you may remember from Ann and Kay's blog (November 14 entry).
