I've got a decent start on the front of the chevron rib tank. I can't wait to see this one all finished up!
You may have noticed that I got rid of the pink background. I think it was time to move on to something different. I'm slowly adding links and things back into the sidebar.
Posted by angela at August 31, 2004 10:04 AMThat's a great tank. Amber from our knitting group finished one this summer. Yours is looking wonderful so far. Neat new blog look. Very calming. (I'm gonna miss the pink though.)
Posted by: alison at September 1, 2004 07:17 AMI liked the pink too, but I'm always open to something new and different. I am loving this tank and this awesome blue sky yarn!
Posted by: angela at September 1, 2004 08:48 AMNewbie question regarding BO 5 sts once:
To do above, I was advised to BO 5, work in pattern, BO the rest.
Is this correct? Very much appreciate the help!
Posted by: tracey at September 6, 2004 02:25 PMHi, I'm knitting the chevron tank front right now and I got confused about the pattern along the sides. When you work in an extra stitch you are supposed to work the extra stitches in pattern right? There are 3 different rows of pattern stitches, but once in a while there are decreases which got me mixed up. So before following the 3 pattern rows, you have to acct. for the extra stitches you have made? Oh I don't know. I may have to start over and see if I can work it out. If you have advice, I'd be so grateful for it!
