Here's the finished product! It's so soft. I used Rowan All-Season's Cotton, which is just divine. I also made a little hat and a pair of booties to go with it. Tres chic for this baby...(the mom is a woman I work with).
Have you found that it's hard to get a group of knitting women together? I can't seem to get it going. I need the girl power right now...
Posted by angela at January 15, 2004 11:21 AMHey!
Where are you? I'm in OC. They do have a south OC get-together. There is another guild in Arcadia area...or are you on the west side?
omg how *totally* cute!!! I love it - I wanna see the hat & booties too! :D great job!

Posted by: Angela at January 16, 2004 07:07 AMHey I'm in south OC! Where's this group? :)
Posted by: Jennye at January 16, 2004 01:48 PMI did a few things to get my knitting group going.
1) Cast a wide net. I emailed everyone I know. I stop people who are knitting when I'm out.
2) Set a regular meeting time and place (not someone's house).
3) Stay in touch. Set up an email group.
Good luck.
The sweater is adorable. :)
Very cute! I so love that yarn. Variegated asc is on my list for the summer.
