Hodge podge

So I made some cards today. They're plain, but I left room for us to sign them, and write a little something -- the whole idea was to send them to some of our friends and family in lieu of "save the date" cards. I made others with pink, purple, blue, and brown inks. It was fun I guess...

I have felt so tired lately...it's been hard to make myself do things. I think I may have been getting sick, but it subsided.

I am scanning tons of old family photos so that I can return them to my mom at Christmastime. This means that I've already had the photos for over a year and am just now getting around to scanning them. Man, what a loser I am!

Below are two photos of my brother in September of 1978 (4 years old). I scanned the first one, then a few photos later, I thought it was the same photo again, only to realize that it WAS just a little bit different. He has that look of achievement in the second one! How cute. A little fun from the archives.

Card: Very nice. It's fun to have such a talented daughter!

Photo: Love your brother's hairstyle! The truck looks like something from Dr. Seuss. If I remember correctly, it belonged to a neighbor who planned to restore it.

Aww, your mom left you a comment! Have you ever tried lino-cut printing? I've never made wood cuts, but I bet lino is easier. Your card looks lovely, in any case. :)
