What better way to spend Halloween night than in the rain at an outdoor concert? Paul and I went with a friend from work to see Tomahawk, the Cramps, and Queens of the Stone Age. Fun night, chilled to the bone. It was great to see and hear some loud rock 'n' roll. Some people were dressed up in costumes. Lots of zombie couples roving around -- or maybe they weren't really in costume...
My Phildar ribbed sweater is coming along nicely! I love this yarn, and the ribbing is just enough to keep me engaged.
Today is Dia de los Muertos. What a fun, strange holiday. Here is one of my day of the dead amigos whom I keep on display all year long. Have fun!
Posted by angela at November 1, 2003 10:07 AMMy husband and I took our honeymoon to Mexico the day after Dia de los Muertos (so those will always be associated in my mind)--we missed the celebrations but saw all the decorations up and lots lof wonderfully comical little skeleton figures in the places we went, especially in Oaxaca.
