The fires are blazing here in Southern California. Everyone I work with is glued to the news, watching as more neighborhoods are evacuated, hoping that theirs isn't next. Ah-nuld will have to let all of Hollywood burn down before the fires could get to me -- one instance where living in a big, crowded city is actually advantageous.
I am now an active player in the Phildar knit-along. Here's what I'm making with Debbie Bliss cotton cashmere. I'm feeling excited about this one!
Settling in last night with my black poncho and DVD of "The Office," I knitted and laughed my way through almost 6 episodes. I found myself so addicted to this show that, unbeknownst to me, I had watched the entire first season in one sitting. What a wicked show!

Posted by: Leigh at October 30, 2003 12:10 PMHi Leigh! I'm using the blue teal -- it's such a great yarn, I am really loving it. My first time using Debbie Bliss, and I'm sold. Thanks for welcoming me into the madness, it's big fun.
Posted by: Angela at October 30, 2003 04:05 PMLeigh has tempted me into the world of DB yarns. Really nice stuff! I like the Phildar pattern you've picked out. It'll be great in that yarn!
